You want to talk, but don't know what to say. You watch people but feel confused about their actions. Watching people can make me feel sad because at times I want to connect, but don't know what to say. For me, it's like being trapped in a cage. It's like trying to solve a difficult puzzle. Therapy and support can provide confidence to help form connections with others. The worst but the best thing you can do is underestimate someone with autism.

You may not think we know what’s going on but you’d be very wrong. We all have our own special unique powerful traits and gifts we bring to this world. I’m in my last year of my master's program, on my way to becoming a therapist, the very superhero that encouraged me and had faith in me to become who I am today.
