Soldiers of Creation was always a space for survivors and their allies of sexual assault to empower, educate and support each other, however, we started out as a space for women and women identified folk.
The March Blooms photoshoot was our first SOC community shoot so it was quite special. We had just launched our site and were so excited to have different soldier members made up of supporters and survivors come together and celebrate one another while being the focal point of our brand which is community.
The photoshoot was at the University of Toronto, St. George campus, just at the peak of spring. It was a little on the chilly side but the sun was so bright and warm and added such a beautiful glow to the photos.
We had an amazing Toronto native female photographer named Caitlin Wickham shoot the photos for us. There were 13 amazing soldiers dressed head to toe in our logo colours ( as requested) that came out, all different ages, sizes and, ethnicities to take part in this photo and one gorgeous pup.
We brought presents, fresh flowers in our logo colours and cupcakes for everyone, it was a beautiful day!
